Imeko Agro-Industrial Park (Nigeria)
Integrated Forest & Soil Carbon Pilot | 3,000 Hectares
The Imeko Agro-Industrial Park is a 3,000-hectare integrated
climate and agriculture project designed to deliver high-integrity
forest and soil carbon outcomes alongside sustainable
agricultural production.
Positioned as a multi-dimensional pilot, the project combines
regenerative land use practices with scalable climate
solutions—demonstrating how agricultural productivity and
carbon value creation can be aligned within a single ecosystem
At full development, the project will encompass:
• Regenerative Agriculture Systems to restore soil health
and enhance carbon sequestration
• Forest Carbon Development through afforestation and
sustainable land management
• Biogas Generation leveraging livestock operations to
convert waste into renewable energy
• Methane-Reduction Initiatives, including advanced livestock
feed formulations in collaboration with global partners such as
AB InBev
The Imeko pilot reflects a holistic approach to land stewardship,
integrating food production, emissions reduction, and ecosystem
restoration within a commercially viable framework.
